In 2025, Charles Sturt offers even better scholarships   

In 2025, we're increasing our support for international students even further.

• The International Student Support Scholarship will continue to provide a 10% fee reduction for most students, with an increase to 15% for those in Business, Accounting, Ciminal Justice, Social Science Psychology and Information Technology programs.
• The International Student Merit Scholarship will rise from 25% to 30% for eligible students in these fields, remaining at 25% for others.

Eligible students will automatically receive these scholarships in their offer letters, and we’re re-issuing offers and CoEs where needed.

Additionally, our $1,000 Regional Accommodation Bursary is back for students relocating to regional campuses and choosing on-campus housing.

The Vice-Chancellor International Excellence Scholarship closes soon! 

The Vice-Chancellor International Excellence Scholarship is closing soon on
15th November - just two weeks away!

This prestigious scholarship offers a 50% tuition fee reduction for the full duration of the course, awarded to students who embody Charles Sturt’s values and contribute actively to their communities. Encourage eligible students to apply and secure this incredible opportunity before it’s too late!

Bathurst International students cultural night

International students in Bathurst and Orange recently gathered on our Bathurst campus for the 2024 Charles Sturt Cultural Dinner - one of the many activities hosted by the International Student Support team.

The evening featured vibrant dance and song performances by our own international students, along with a delicious spread of food and drinks. As always, the photobooth was a huge hit, giving students a fun way to capture and keep printed memories of the night! We'll share more about this exciting night very soon. 

We will soon accept Flywire for student payments 

By the end of the year, Charles Sturt University will accept payments via Flywire, allowing students and families to pay in their preferred currency with support for over 140 currencies worldwide. Flywire’s platform automates foreign exchange (FX) conversions and supports local payment methods, enhancing convenience for international students.

This is in addition to students already being able to pay via Convera, reflecting Charles Sturt’s commitment to simplifying financial transactions for its diverse student body.

Submit applications early! The dates above are a guide so your students have enough time for visa processing.

Please note these dates are not fixed, and we will continue processing applications for the intake as long as visa processing timelines allow.
